The Seven
Rays of Divine Light
The
seven rays are a person’s innate characteristics. Each one of the
seven rays is in our makeup but one ray predominates in each of us. This
dominant ray is more evolved than others and is considered the
individual’s ray type. The number seven is deeply rooted in the
physical to which the rays correspond.
There are the seven centers in the brain, the seven centers of
force (chakras), and the seven major glands which determine the quality
of the physical body. The human in its nature is a sevenfold being with
the potential of seven states of consciousness. Each human being has a
particular ray quality which has been swept into manifestation by the
impulse of one of these rays. These seven rays exist in the cosmos and
are essentially white light, but when they hit the human atmosphere they
become a prism of many colors. Everything in the solar system that has a
living quality to it belongs to one of the seven rays.
The
first, second, and third rays are the rays of aspect. The fourth, fifth,
sixth, and seventh rays are the rays of attribute.
The
first ray is the higher counterpart of the seventh, the second is the
higher counterpart of the sixth, the third is the higher counterpart of
the fifth, and the fourth connects the higher and lower rays and
harmonizes them.
The
rays correspond closely to the chakras.
According
to occult sciences color is actually vibratory waves that come from the
rays of the great central sun. The seven cosmic rays constitute the
seven types of human temperament which corresponds closely to the
chakras.
